Cheswick Marina's location on the third pool of the Allegheny river provides excellent smooth water, even during the weekends, for all types of water sports.
The width of the Allegheny River and the lock traffic at the opposite side of the river create a situation where boats at the marina are not continually rocking due to boat traffic.
The south facing orientation of the marina with the Allegheny River valley due west provides full sun until dusk for those squeezing out the most skiing time possible or those looking for the tranquility of a great sunset.
