Marina Opens

Boat Show

Cheswick Marina parking lot and dock slips

Millers Marine will be hosting a Boat Show at Cheswick Marina.  Multiple new and used boats will be on site to tour.  Boats will also be in water to so that demo rides can be provided.  Millers Marine is the official area dealer for Bayliner, Maxum, and several pontoon lines.

Kayak Trip

Allegheny River

Trip will be on Allegheny River starting at marina through lock to mouth of Deer Creek.   Kayaks will be available to rent if needed.  Email Cheswick Marina for further details.

7/9/2010

Water sports activities

150 ft from docks.

Wakeboard/wakeskate/trick ski pulls. Pulls will be from ~ 9;00 am to ~ Noon.  A $5 fee will be required and go toward gas costs.  Participants will board a tow boat (Supra with speed control) from the marina docks and run a typical wakeboard course up to twice.

Meet for Pirate Game

PNC Park

Pirate game start time is 1:35 PM.   Boaters shall Leave marina around 11:00 am and meet at north shore wall.

Swim,  Cookout

Allegheny Islands State Park

 Meet and tie up at upriver point of Allegheny Islands State Park (directly across from marina).

Dock Party / Live Band

Parking Area

Dockholders bring covered dish.  Cheswick marina will cook wings and fries.  A $ 20 per dockslip contribution towards the event would be appreciated. Live band performing 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
